What if you didn’t have to choose between a quality learning environment for your child and time with your family?

Kinder Connection offers the only licensed early learning program in Betterton, Maryland. Located just three blocks from a public beach and three blocks from a beautiful playground, we serve infants through age 5 with research-informed play-based learning. We are a Maryland EXCELS Level 1 provider, part of the ASPIRE Pre-K program, and use MSDE approved Creative Curriculum.

Kinder Connection focuses on sensory-rich play-based learning and integrates literacy, mathematics, science, social studies, music, art and Spanish into themes based on student interest and current academic level. Children don’t sit and learn – instead movement and exploration are included in everything we do.

Children attend our home classroom setting up to five days a week. Since both Jamie and Ellie are certified providers, children receive a lower student to staff ratio (4:1) than most other programs – giving your child the attention they need to thrive.

We offer a formal pre-K program for three and four year olds during the school year. This program aligns with MSDE standards for Kindergarten readiness but is delivered in a way that encourages movement, sensory play, and creativity.

In addition to our full-time programs, we have some flexibility for families who need part-time care- welcoming children as families go back to work part-time as well as young children who are homeschooled and have parents who desire additional enrichment and socialization.
